š® Wolverine Gameplay Trailer
Yes! We are finally there, and during the latest State of Play from Sony, we can see what kind of Wolverine game we are going to get.
And itās surprisingly nothing like the previous Insomniac titles. We are not in New York anymore, punching bad guys to sleep, oh no. Now we are a head-splitting, guts-spilling, bike-riding machine. While there are only bits and pieces of the story, the official description states:
Become a living weapon. As he searches for answers about his past, Wolverine will do whatever it takes ā unleashing brutal claw combat, violent rage, and relentless determination ā to cut through the mystery of the man he used to be.
From Insomniac Games, the developers of the critically acclaimed Marvelās Spider-Man franchise, comes Marvelās Wolverine, an all-new take on an iconic character based on Marvel Comics. Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvelās Wolverine coming to PlayStationĀ®5 consoles Fall 2026.
Aside from that, we could finally see who was cast to play Logan, and itās Liam McIntyre, who you mayāve seen in the TV show Spartacus a while back.
And everything looks so great! In my opinion, this is a huge step up from Insomniac to introduce this level of violence in one of their projects and to do it in a way that looks so impressive. The game looks and feels like one of the recent movies, like Logan or Deadpool & Wolverine, and maintains the whole vibe of Wolverine looking to get some answers about his past, like it was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I love all of it! The only thing that I donāt like is that itās again being released as a PS5 exclusive, though Iām sure that the PC port will come shortly after that.
What do you think about this new trailer?
š® ASUS ROG Ally Prices
Microsoft sure took its sweet time trying to figure out how to price its newest addition to the handheld market, but the company finally reached their decision.
With the release date of the 16th of October, Xbox released a post opening up the preorders for the new console and finally shared the price tag in the US and according to the press release:
Pricing is set at an Estimated Retail Price (ERP) for each device (exact prices will be announced per region as pre-orders go live):
ROG Xbox Ally X: Available for USD $999.99 (ERP). The ultimate high-performance handheld, built for the most demanding players.
ROG Xbox Ally: Available for USD $599.99 (ERP). The essential handheld for everyone from the casual player to the avid enthusiast.
Players can pre-order their handhelds today in: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam ā as well as 8 newly announced markets launching on October 16: Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Slovenia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ukraine.
I have to say, this is all well and good, but Iām feeling like itās a little bit too pricey. The console sounds amazing, donāt get me wrong, but Iāll probably wait for some reviews first before I start pulling up my savings for this thing.
What are your thoughts on XBOX Ally?
š® No Sequel For Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 became something of a phenomenon in the world of multiplayer games, and it seems like Arrowhead Game Studios has no plans for a sequel, at least for now.
According to a recent article from The Gamer, during a recent conversation on Discord, the CEO of Arrowhead, Shams Jorjani, has no plans for the next game, and he and the studio are committed to continuing the journey of Helldivers 2 for as long as possible:
We have no plans for Helldivers 3, just Helldivers 2 for as long as it can go.
Myself and the directors agree we would love this to be a forever game.
While this is going on, the game is not doing great at the moment. It seems like the developers got themselves a very sticky situation with the performance side of it, and the reviews are dropping every day, with the recent reviews sitting at āMixedā.
I donāt know about forever, but I think that this game still has a lot of potential and can definitely be alive and well for at least a few years. That being said, the developers indeed have to consider doing some tech debt stuff instead of just pouring more content into the game, or those long-term ambitions will be over before they know it.

š® Battlefield 6 Campaign Trailer
And yet another trailer of Battlefield 6, this time itās about the story campaign, which was shared during the recent State of Play.
It has everything. Stealth missions during the night, destruction during the day, tanks, ships and everything else a proper shooter needs. When it comes to the story, it doesnāt show much except that the game will have a lot of different factions from the CIA, the SAS, Delta Force, and beyond.
I mean, I donāt know about you guys, but I feel like this game could give Call of Duty a run for its money. To be honest, I was always more excited about the new Battle Royale and expected the campaign mode to be a very generic story, but at least, looking at this trailer, I mightāve been wrong. This looks like something I might be interested in.
Of course, not that interesting that I would buy this game on release day. But at least itās worth wishlisting it and waiting for a sale, donāt you think? š

š® Hades 2 Becomes The Highest Rated Game on Steam In 2025
Personally, I think it was inevitable, but nonetheless very impressive, how, after a year of Early Access, Hades 2 became a thing that everybody is talking about, and the reviews reflect that.
Aside from scoring 94 on Metacritic, the game sits at āOverwhelmingly Positiveā reviews on Steam as well, which makes it the highest-rated game of 2025 so far.
Of course, the year is not over yet, but this game makes the Game of the Year for me so far š
š® Gameplay Reveal For Saros
Another game that made a surprise appearance during State of Play was Saros from Housemarque (Returnal).
And as you can see from the trailer, the new game pretty much builds on the foundation of the previous game and improves on it. And in this trailer, we get to see a lot of things. From the traversal among the desolate alien world to some crazy bullet-hell sequences and shooting.
I havenāt played Returnal all that much, but this one seems to be even better!
š® Why Silksong Is More Difficult
Silksong hit big, yes, but its release wasnāt without issues, and the biggest of them was the difficulty, both combat and platforming. And the developers finally responded.
During the ACMI Game Worlds Exhibition, Team Cherry finally revealed why the game is that much more difficult and, apparently, it has to do with the gameās new protagonist:
Hornet is inherently faster and more skilful than the Knight, so even the base level enemy had to be more complicated, more intelligent.
The basic ant warrior is built from the same move-set as the original Hornet boss. The same core set of dashing, jumping, and dashing down at you, plus we added the ability to evade and check you. In contrast to the Knightās enemies, Hornetās enemies had to have more ways of catching her as she tries to move away.
The important thing for us is that we allow you to go way off the path. So one player may choose to follow it directly to its conclusion, and then another may choose to constantly divert from it and find all the other things that are waiting and all the other ways and routes.
What do you think? Did they overdo it?
š«” True Tribute!
Today I wanted to salute
!Some very interesting thoughts, as usual! Iām not sure if I agree with Dead Space, but Iāll say this. I played the first game backwards and forwards, I bought the remake, I played it for a bit and it just didnāt stick. Iām not sure if itās something with the game, or maybe itās just me knowing how everything is going to turn out. And to add to that, I donāt think that itās a bad game, per se; itās just that somehow it just didnāt stick for me š And I also found LA Noire confusing the first time I played, but I have to say, it grows on you the more you play. Great thoughts nonetheless!
š Personal Update
While I continue my solo adventures in Hades 2, my friends and I got into Arena Breakout Infinite, again.
Yet another game that left Early Access recently, and yet another one that seemed to have learned from its mistakes. Donāt get me wrong, itās still as frustrating sometimes as it was before, but itās a competitive online shooter; they all are. But the number of cheaters is significantly less, they disabled their pay-to-win model and removed an option to buy some of the OP items, making them only craftable. All in all, Iām quite impressed by their progress, and so far it makes a good place to wait out the Battlefield 6 release date š
This is all the news I have for you folks today.
Thanks for making it this far! š

Thank you for the shout-out!!
Yeah I was a little harsh on the Dead Space remake but I just liked the original so much!
Still the remake isn't a bad game it's just not as good (in my eyes) but thats what makes remakes so difficult. Your comparing them to the source material instead of judging it on its own merits.
I am soooo hooked on Hades! Can't stop playing hahaha. Although I've only managed to defeat Chronos 3 times so far. And don't me started on the Olympus boss (tryna not to drop spoilers here just in case). And man, that fated list, is like 3 times the size as the first Hades!!
