I'm hoping that there will be an evolution to the binary paragon/renegade system for Mass Effect. Tides of Torment: Numenera had a colour coded Tides system that introduced much more nuance to your choices. It's not the same genre of game, but I'm hoping we get more choice!
I haven't seen the Tides of Tornment, but now that I think about it, you are right. A new system would've been much nicer. Especially since all the games usually have 3 different choices of dialogue answers 😅
I would have loved to see what that online Transformers game would have looked like. I know it is just the 90s kid in me fanboying, but I love Transformers! Also, AI teammates just feel weird to me. I dunno, if it is an online game you should play with other people, that's what makes it fun!
I mean, the fun part is debatable sometimes, but I agree. It just feels weird for such a popular game to struggle with matchmaking. That's what it sounds like to me at least 🤷
Imagine having AI teammates. I can see people falling in love with those too haha. Instead of AI gf/bf, you can have one to game with. But yah, I can see people shitting on the idea instantly with anything involving AI, but this could also be a good thing. Especially for games with a toxic fanbase. Like I know when I play online, I never do voice chat and just hoping people think I'm a guy sorta deal.

I’ve heard good things about PUBG but I never got into it much cuz I’m not very good at those games haha. But I was part of the LoL community a lot and there was so much harassment. I even broke up with my ex twice over it cuz he got so mean ahaha
Yeah and I can get why. I used to get into huge fights with my best friend over LoL 😅 Overall the community became exponentially worse as the game got bigger and I don't think it's ever going to get back to the way it was...

Also, I'm cautiously optimistic about the Helldivers 2 adaptation... I'm usually wary of these video game adaptations but Helldivers might make a fun movie.

I've already heard cases of people falling in love with ChatGPT, so falling in love with an AI bot doesn't sound like a stretch 😅
Interestingly, PUBG is not the most toxic community I've ever seen. Dota and LoL is a much more toxic (by a landslide)
