Let's talk more Arcane with Shane Elliott!
An exciting dive into the series with Shane Elliott from Feats N' Faults
Hello friends,
Today I wanted to share the next part of the series dedicated to League of Legends that we started working on with
from after the release of season 2 of The Arcane. will be talking more about the series here and I’ll be talking more about the game on .Take it away
!Welcome back to Feats N’ Faults, where we use our Tiered Point System to rank and record our favorite characters based on their achievements and deeds. For a more in depth look on how points are awarded, please check the About page. Below is our Tier System for quick reference. Also Spoiler Warning!
Gamedev Relay and I are back with another cross post to wrap up the Arcane series! Last time, we looked at characters from season 1, and now we can see everyone’s final scores and who won between Vi and Jinx!
For those new here, we analyze your favorite fandoms by ranking characters based on their actions and accomplishments rather than on how powerful they are. Power scaling is fun, but it only gets you so far. This way, any character can compete! Who impacted their story or universe more, Scooby-Doo, Iron Man, or Goku? Which characters would make the best Avengers or Tardis team? All this data has endless possibilities, and we have some surprising results already. For a more in-depth look at how points are awarded, check out my About Page.
Today, we are looking at Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Silco, Vander, Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Viktor, Jayce, Mel, Ambessa, Ekko, and Singed. If you want to play at home, go ahead and rank these guys from least to greatest, and let me know who you thought would come out on top.
thoughtJinxwould come out on top. Let’s see if he got it right.
Let’s Get Started!

13th Place, Singed: 6 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 12 ep.
The Singed doubled his score from the first season, but that wasn’t enough. Even with his impressive feats of creating Shimmer and his transformation of Vander. Unfortunately, he’s still at the bottom of the list. I guess he’ll have to hide in the shadows of our rankings, just as he did in the series.
12th Place, Heimerdinger: 7 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 9 ep.
Another considerable improvement from last season is Heimerdinger, with 7x his first-season score! If he had scored this well in the first season, he’d have been in contention for a top 5 spot. Heimerdinger founded Piltover and sacrificed himself to get Ekko back into his own universe. It was this sacrifice that put some serious points on the board. I’m still excited to see him improve this much. I would have hated to see him at the bottom of our overall tier lists for years. Plus, those banjo skills are top notch.
11th Place, Silco: 8 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 13 ep.
Silco stalled after season one… as a dead man would. Without being able to score in season two, he fell considerably. Silco held the 4th place position last time! The mighty have fallen. It just goes to show that there is no mercy in Feats N’ Faults. The competition never sits still.
10th Place, Ambessa: 8 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 9 ep.
Ambessa also got some more time to shine. She didn’t do as well as I was expecting. She had an entire army at her back, but she never did much with it in the end. She captures some people and kills a witch, but that’s about it. The siege of Piltover was smaller than expected. It was basically an escort the payload mission and her team lost. She might be a mighty warrior, but she was taken down during the first real combat we saw her in.
9th Place, Mel: 8 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 14 ep.
Here is the biggest surprise of the feed: Mel and her mother tied with an 8 FN’F Score. Mel started season two with a zero score and clawed her way back up to contest Ambessa. She progressed a lot this season. Mel realized who she was and began to harness the potential within her. Escaping the Black Rose prison and harnessing her inherent powers allowed her to soar and escape the dregs of this tier list. Mel, you impressed me this season. Glad to see you finally get a score you deserve.
8th Place, Ekko: 10 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 9 ep.
I have never played LOL, but after watching this, I would assume that Ekko has some sort of rewind ability. If that is the case, this is the Ekko that fans of the game have been waiting for. Ekko grew on me. I liked seeing his struggle to return to his timeline and the conflict with what he was about to do. Living a life where Jinx and he could have been a couple while knowing you’d have to leave it to kill another version of her is brutal. Luckily, he was able to achieve this without making a single misstep. Zero faults is a huge feat, especially when scores have as narrow of margins as Arcane seems to have.
7th Place, Vander: 12 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 13 ep.
In 7th, we have my favorite pappa wolf. As a LOL noob, I had no idea that Vander was still alive or that he was transformed into a massive wolf. And then he was changed again into a weird futuristic god wolf! How in the world could I have predicted that? I guess I could have googled anything about the game, but that would have been cheating!
Vander’s story hits me hard. His inability to remember his daughters is agonizing. I thought he was going to have a breakthrough, but unfortunately, he led to the death of his daughter. At least, I assume they are permanently dead. I have no outside knowledge, but I am pretty sure this is Arcane's final season. I am sure someone with game knowledge out there will correct me in the comments.
6th Place, Sevika: 13 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 11 ep.
My girl Sevika did a fantastic job in season 2! She skyrockets up the leaderboard by five places. She earned double digits this season and got a fancy new arm to boot. Jinx and Sev teamed up to reclaim the glory that Silco envisioned for them. These two lost daughters were not wasting any time either. They wasted rival crime lords and lured Vi into a trap where they had a very good chance at silencing her once and for all. Sevika even ended up on the council at the end of the series! Silco would have been proud. Hopefully, the lanes will now get the proper representation and respect they desperately crave.
5th Place, Caitlyn: 17 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 14 ep.
My captain, my captain. I have to point out that it is rare for characters to make it two entire seasons with zero faults. I think it is a testament to the writing of Arcane that so many characters avoided silly or stupid mistakes. Caitlyn is yet another example of this. Ambessa used her to further her authoritarian goals, but this forged Cait into a lethal weapon. She learned how to lead and when to make her move. She was not the obvious choice to lead Piltover, but she was an excellent commander. She also played a vital role in beating Ambessa. Mel wouldn’t have been able to win if she hadn't shot those runes off.
4th Place, Viktor: 24 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 14 ep.
Holy space-Jesus, Batman! Talk about crazy transformations! Viktor had one hell of a glow-up this season. Like with Vander, I had no idea this was his final form. Viktor was probably the most powerful character in this series. He used that power, too. He healed and transformed entire cities; in another timeline, he completely destroyed them! You do not want to stand against him or with him. He’d want to take away your freedom no matter who you fought with. His only fault came when he was fighting Jayce. The dude has literal laser hands and was directly in front of Jayce. How do you miss that shot? It’s just pointing at someone; come on, man.
3rd Place, Jayce: 25 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 17 ep.
We’ve finally reached our top three, and let me tell you, Jayce clawed his way to this spot. This man has seen some shit. While Ekko got to live a little fantasy, Jayce was in a living nightmare. He fell down a ravine, broke his leg, and had to survive by eating creatures raw. He finally got enough strength to build himself a brace and climb his way out. I like to talk about determination, and Jayce is made of the stuff. That also pertains to his willingness to create the best Piltover. He has his ambitions, but everything he does, even if it is misguided, is because he wants what is best for his city. I can respect that. To put his FN’F Score into perspective, Jayce tied with characters like Lando Calrissian from Star Wars and Agent Washington from Red vs Blue.
2nd Place, Vi: 26 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 16 ep.
Here are the results we’ve all been waiting for. The tie between Vi and Jinx has finally been broken, and Vi has landed the second-place spot. She only beat Jayce by a single point and had a pretty lackluster second season. She scored 18 FN’F points in the first but struggled to keep up her momentum. Because of this, her sister just kept pulling farther and farther away. Vi only scored a single fault in the second season, but most of her impressive sounding feats came from the first. She had a bit of a crisis in the latest season, which kept her from getting out of the pits and scoring. Sure, she got a couple feats from fighting in the pits, but those were nothing compared to what she was earning when tracking down her sister. She also split her screen time with Cait, which didn’t help her score. She is still a force to be reckoned with. Just like Jayce, she is tied to some iconic characters. Thorin Oakenshield from The Hobbit and Vision from the MCU both also scored 26 FN’F Score. That’s some pretty good company to keep.
1st Place, Jinx: 37 FN’F Score (2021-2024) 15 ep.
Jinx was the fan favorite and our top character for Arcane. She scored a whopping 37 FN’F Score and was the only character to break the thirty barrier. She had the most faults, but that didn’t stop her. She caused so much destruction and political change that no one could keep her down. Her greatest skill was her consistency. In every scene she was in, she seemed to be scoring. The hustle was impressive. Because of this mentality, she beat characters like Liz Shaw from Doctor Who and Nick Fury from the MCU.
Jinx went through a lot of growth during this season. I never got a handle on where she was going to end up. I kept seeing sparks of hope and despair in her eyes and the back and forth of her morals/motivations was what kept me engaged. We saw her entire life unfold and it was disturbingly beautiful.
Thanks again for tuning into pt.2 of our Arcane series! Did any of the scores surprise you? Who did you think would make our top three?
