When Indiana Jones encounters Father Ricci, a young priest desperate for help to track down a Roman artifact, a standard treasure hunt soon turns into a perilous journey. Along the way Indy must face the sinister plots of Emperor Nero and his gladiator games, the enigmatic Cult of Mithras, and whatever else lurks in the shadows. Can Father Ricci's cryptic knowledge guide Indy through these treacherous passageways? Only Indiana Jones can piece together this breathtaking mystery.
🎮 Black Myth: Zhong Kui - Announcement
After the monumental success of Black Myth: Wukong, Game Science revealed that they are already working on the next big thing. This time it’s about Zhong Kui, according to Wikipedia, a deity in Chinese mythology, traditionally regarded as a vanquisher of ghosts and evil beings.
Players will continue the story of the Destined One in a Chinese mythology-inspired environment to overcome challenges, dispatch enemies along the way, and bring the truth to light. Experience new mystical happenings in the world of Black Myth: Zhong Kui, coming soon.
Looks majestic, doesn’t it?
🎮 Halloween - Announcement
After all the hints and speculations, a new Halloween game is officially announced for 2026.
Michael Myers Returns to Haddonfield. Halloween is the upcoming asymmetric stealth horror game with single and multiplayer modes from developer and publisher IllFonic, co-published by Gun Interactive, and in partnership with Compass International Pictures and Further Front. Halloween will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 (PS5), and PC via Steam and Epic Game Store in 2026.
Step into the chilling world of John Carpenter’s genre-defining film, now transformed into a suspenseful one-versus-many stealth horror experience in Halloween. Put on the iconic mask to become the ultimate slasher, Michael Myers, stalking and executing the citizens of Haddonfield one by one, or striving to thwart Michael Myers’ plans as Civilians determined to save the unaware townsfolk before it’s too late.
Stick to the shadows as Civilians, seeking out Haddonfield residents to warn them and searching for a way to contact the authorities. As Michael Myers, give them a reason to fear the dark and cut the phone lines to prevent the police from ruining his favorite holiday.

🎮 Anno 117: Pax Romana – The Final Preview
And if we are talking about strategy and city builders, it’s hard not to mention Anno 117, an upcoming game from Ubsifot that made an appearance during Gamescom as well with a new trailer.
Welcome to Albion, Governor!
Discover these mysterious Celtic wetlands, where no civilized Roman wants to be. From architectural styles to which deities to worship, the degree to which you Romanize your provinces is up to you. Will you embrace local Celtic culture or impose Roman traditions? The fate of this region—and your legacy—is yours to decide.
Anno 117: Pax Romana is available November 13, 2025
🎮 More Details about The Blood of the Dawnwalker
Honestly, I think is my personal favourite and the game that I’m looking forward to the most. During Gamescom, IGN got an extended preview of the game from the devs and shared a bunch of new footage and interesting comments about this upcoming dark fantasy.
If you are looking forward to this game as much as I am, I definitely recommend watching the video above!
🎮 Onimusha: Way of the Sword Preview
Onimusha is making a dramatic return since the PS2 glory days.
The demo was shared with IGN during Gamescom, and they are gracefully sharing their experience of this long awaited game from Capcom. And by the looks of it, the game is very solid. According to IGN:
The gamescom demo may have been short – little more than some winding paths and a boss fight in a temple – but it’s more than enough to convince me that Onimusha: Way of the Sword is built on rock-solid swordplay fundamentals.
🎮 Pragmata Preview
This is the second most interesting project for me, kind of like The Last of Us, but with robots and a new twist. Capcom also brought the playable version of this game to Gamescom.
And while IGN has some concerns regarding the shooting mechanics, I’m kind of excited to see how this game will turn out. To be honest, I’m more interested in the narrative aspect of it, and I’m hoping that while the gameplay might feel a bit overcomplicated, the story will be compelling enough to compensate.
🫡 True Tribute!
Today I wanted to salute
! recently shared another surprising gem in the world of indie games. Sometimes games could be overwhelming with all the action going on the screen, so it’s great to see small and cosy projects like Is This Seat Taken that you can, well, take and relax without a care in the world. Great find, as always!😄 Personal Update
This week is going to be a bumpy one for me in terms of work, as it’s my last week before my vacation and I have quite a few things on my plate. Fortunately, our first update is LIVE, and we can quietly continue working on the next one. Unfortunately, this might be the biggest update yet, and the amount of stuff to do is quite substantial.
On the bright side, I have a week of vacation to look forward to. And as with any vacation, I have a ton of plans, but am I actually going to get to any of them, or am I going to spend the entire time just resting and playing the games I’ve been wanting to play?
I guess the time will tell 😅
This is all the news I have for you folks today. What’s your favourite announcement from Gamescom this year?
Thanks for making it this far! 🙌

I like the fact that most are hyped of different titles than me, regarding the shown projects of Gamescom. 😅
I played Indiana Jones because it was on the Game Pass, and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the story. And Troy Baker's voice work was superb. Harrison Ford 2.0. I'll be keen to play this expansion when it turns up. The Blood of Dawnwalker, however, I am VERY keen to play.
