🎮 GameDev Relay Will Be Right Back

Taking a small break to deal with work and personal stuff

Hello friends,

For the past few weeks, I’ve been very busy. Between our recently released project that required and still requires a lot of work, and some personal circumstances, I hadn’t really had much time to write and this week is even more busy than usual.

To that end, I’ve decided that, as with any endeavour, we all need small breaks sometimes. So, that’s me taking a small break to deal with the rest of the stuff.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still fully committed to continuing our journey together in the world of game news and small interesting stories. But I realize that without a small “vacation” to deal with everything that’s going on around me, I will burn out very quickly.

So, the next edition of 🎮 GameDev Relay will be back on August 5th.

Until then, I’ll still continue my crusade with trying to get Substack to add a game-related category, but probably not much else. And maybe this post will serve as a reminder to other creators that we are all human, and we all deserve a break sometime.

You all are doing amazing work and should always have the freedom to take a well-deserved time off!
